Living The Fitness Lifestyle

Image result for fitnessA number of you have written to me about how to deal with days when you are not working, where you are not following a meal plan, and where you are not scheduled to attend a fitness event. any. We tend to call these "rest days" or "rest days", some people even have an "off season" and I tend to think that these names are quite appropriate. I think the main idea or concept that we need to adopt and live the lifestyle we should have at fitness is that there is never a time when our body does not do anything. The only time your body will even do nothing is when you are dead and it will always do something; it's called breaking down. But on a more serious note, we need to realize that living healthy is more than just a well-planned gym workout or series of meals, it's really a lifestyle. The media and marketing do a great job of selling products, but they also give many people an unrealistic idea of what fitness is, what it looks like and how they live. form.Popular mentalities to avoidI often talk to people who participate in bodybuilding and physics competitions. These are sports that I love and respect personally. These sports are characterized by an incredible number of amazing athletes and they have always had a special place in my heart as favorite personalities and friends. However, most people (but rarely athletes) tend to mislabel these people and mistakenly consider them the ultimate symbol of the fitness lifestyle. In the majority of cases (there are exceptions), I can tell you that nothing could be further from the truth. I've lived this lifestyle most of my life, so I know what I'm talking about. In my experience, the majority of these people do fitness just 24 hours a day when it's time to get ready for a competition. The rest of the year, many of them do not train for weeks, they eat what they want and engage in drinking, literally feed themselves with food, then turn around and initiate practices of Extreme diet to prepare their show. On top of that, most people I know in these sports (including myself) just exercise and eat "clean" at different times of the year during their competition.Over time, major fluctuations in body weight, steroid abuse, and ever-changing dietary practices have negative consequences. Once their life is out of the competition phase, most of them tend to become recreational practitioners and end up having the same fitness problems as most other people. While sport is a great way to stay in shape and enjoy our lives, we need to make sure that we create lifestyle features that will remain once our days of competition are over. I have struggled with this for years and I can tell you that this is a huge challenge for the former physics athlete.Get to know you, it's going to be a long journeyTo be in shape (for life), you need to become aware of your body's shape problems and design a lifestyle that improves and keeps them at a high level. It really is that simple. It's not a party for the summer, so get back to the fall lifestyle. Of course, there are times when a fit person can decide to take an aspect of fitness and improve it considerably in order to enjoy it, but it must be remembered that there is no point in 'stop. It is a key concept that is so simple, but so absent from most people's lives. The fitness lifestyle never stops. It does not end when you stop playing sports, when you get married, or when you start your own business. There is no break point for those who live in shape. Of course, we all have setbacks, struggles and challenges to overcome; but we overcome them. We know that these setbacks, struggles and challenges will be overcome while living in the lifestyle of physical fitness. In other words, we do not change our way of life to solve problems, we treat them while maintaining our way of life. As simplistic as it sounds, I found it to be perhaps the most difficult aspect of life that most people deal with.Of course, there are meals, days and times when we do things contrary to our convictions and our lives. But they are the exception, not the rule.
